Students gaze into science of mining

PERTH, AUSTRALIA, 6th December 2018

Process IQ were pleased to be involved in the East Waikiki Primary School Resource Day.  Linking early education with industry is key in ensuring we provide ample avenues for all the budding metallurgists, geologists and plant managers that will run the mines in the next couple of decades.

Bringing our processes back to basics to be easily understood by the Year 5 students, was a challenge!  Explaining milling and flotation circuits with Tiny teddies, milo and tic tacs… was a creative approach that we thoroughly enjoyed.
